Bereshit – House of Hebrew is an online Hebrew academy for olim and international professionals. It was founded by Mor, who has been teaching Hebrew since 2010.
It started in the army.
Mor began teaching Hebrew in 2010 during her IDF service, as an intensive Hebrew instructor for new olim at the Machve Alon base, where she also worked with immigrant children.
She was later promoted to Hebrew Coordinator for the Israeli Navy, working with soldiers in combat and technical roles. There she set up the Navy's first ulpanim and built a high-intensity curriculum.
She founded Bereshit to help every oleh integrate – personally and professionally – and took it online so students can learn from anywhere in Israel or abroad.

Our curriculum is built on the Binyanim and roots, so you build your own sentences instead of memorizing phrases.

Every text and exercise is written by Mor for life and work in Israel today – meetings, emails, the shuk and everyday errands.
