I started teaching Hebrew in 2010 during my military service, working with new olim from around the world. I founded Bereshit to help every oleh integrate – personally and professionally. Today my team teaches the curriculum I wrote for life and work in modern Israel.

Ulpan is a good start. At Bereshit, every text and every written and spoken exercise is original – written for life and work in Israel today. No outdated texts.
I'm swamped. Will I keep up?
Morning groups fit into the work day, evening groups come after it. If your schedule is truly unpredictable, 1:1 lessons fit around it completely.
What level do I need?
Any level. The free call and a placement test place you where you fit – even if your reading is ahead of your speaking, or the other way around.
Group or VIP?
Group is for practicing with others – and a great fit for teams from the same workplace. VIP is for unpredictable schedules, or anyone who prefers to practice 1:1.
